About Men Plus Faith
What is Men Plus Faith?
As someone who is early in their faith journey, I think it can be hard and overwhelming to find resources to help learn specifically about what God has said in the bible about being a man, a husband, and a father. I found it harder to find good books, podcasts, pastors, and men's groups to join to help me grow my faith and establish my identity as a man of God.
I am creating this as a resource for others to be able to find these things quickly to accelerate their journey of faith but to also answer the questions I had about all God has called us men to.
This is designed to be a place for men to go to get quick and simple answers to learn what God says about being a man, husband, and father. We want to encourage men in what they are trying to accomplish and to find that encouragement in Christ, and to get resources to learn how to be a man of God.
In addition, we highlight athletes and those in the public who speak out about God, Jesus, and their faith. I pray that hearing what these men say gives you courage to share your faith with other men and to grow God's kingdom.
Our Purpose
To build a place where men can go to get resources, support, and encouragement on how to be man filled with Christ – to then build a home to provide for and protect his wife and children.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a resource platform that helps, encourages, and then pushes men to find their identity in Christ, talk about their relationship with God with other men, and to be a man, husband, and father leading their family how God intended.
My Why
I’m here to serve and change lives. I felt pushed by God to create something for other men to help give them tools, resources, share stories, and fill others up on God’s word to in turn, be able to be all that God has called them to be for themselves, their wife, and their family. I was very fortunate that a close friend of mine created a men's group shortly after I came back to church and it rapidly grew my faith and through our group's collaboration, I found a number of these resources that helped me in so many ways. My goal is that Men Plus Faith becomes that for you.
Accelerating God’s Plan
A portion of the proceeds from everything sold will be given to Radiant Church, the church that brought me back to God, Trinity Church, which propelled me forward in my faith, and to World Vision, an incredible organization providing lifesaving care for children around the world all in God’s name.
