The Why
I’m a huge sports fan and someone who often finds myself looking up to athletes. As a new Christian, I find it not only encouraging but I admire all athletes who speak publicly about their faith. The reason I want to highlight these athletes is to give you the courage to speak publicly about your faith. My second goal is that you are able to learn from these athletes, learn the scripture and what they have taken from God’s word. Third, I pray that you take the lessons that have been taught to these athletes and apply them to your life.
